The tortoise is in trouble! After winning the race some time ago, all of the hares are now flaming mad and vow to get back their trophy by stopping Sheldon the tortoise in the present time. The premise is pretty simple. Grab as many coins as you can, an use various items to assist in either pouncing your hare enemies. Some of those items include Wings (which let you float through the air), Bubbles (which let you jump faster and crush your enemies), Mushrooms (which let you jump really high), and more.
The only way to get around is to tap the screen which lets you jump. Forward is the only way you get to go. While this may seem limiting at first, you will quickly get the hang of things. You need to know when to jump, and you need to focus! Hares hide out in tree stumps, in the ground, and some even float by whipping a towel around and around. If you touch any of them head on, you die, so be careful!
This game gets serious points because when you first play it, tips and other info boxes pop on the screen to let you know what to do and how to get around. The background scoring music is awesome. The graphics are great. Every level has a different feel and theme. You’ll almost feel like you’re playing an actual traditional game console. The developer gets massive props for putting a lot of thought into this game.
